Avoiding the contact with dust mite allergen
Globally, the annual value of drug treatments for respiratory complaints is estimated at US$46 billion with allergic asthma and rhinitis making up large portion of the cost. Case control study has shown that reducing the exposure to dust mite and mite allergens can dramatically improve allergy symptoms. Dust mite allergen exposure is much greater in bedding than elsewhere at home. By installing allergen barrier covers over the mattress, pillow and comforter, it can significantly reduce the exposure of mite allergen hence allergy symptoms.
